Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Ismael Romero (205-1991) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard Angel Rodriguez (180-1992, college: Miami, FL, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 11 points and 8 assists for the winners. Four Vaqueros players scored in double figures. Vaqueros' coach Nelson Colon used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Nate Mason (188-1995, college: Minnesota) answered with 22 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Josue Erazo (204-1995, college: PR-Rio Piedras) added 6 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Atleticos.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
